News: Four Dutch bands perform at CMJ festival in New York
During a special showcase evening, hosted by Subbacultcha!, the bands Adept, The Moi Non Plus and Bonne Aparte perform at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York. From 21 until 26 October this festival takes place in the Big Apple. Another Dutch band who will perform at the festival is The Hospital Bombers, who play on their own evening. The Subbacultcha! showcase takes place in Cakeshop on the fashionable Lower East Side with support of Canadian band Women and the American band Skeletons. The Moi Non Plus will also release their first album which is the first release for the Subbacultcha! label. They will tour through Spain, the UK, Germany and the USA during their debut album tour. Subbacultcha!, a platform for independent bands from Amsterdam, gives away an exclusive compilation album with the London music magazine Artrocker. In an impression of 30.000 copies the CD include known international acts as well as Dutch bands like zZz, Adept, Bonne Aparte, ET Explore Me, The Moi Non Plus en Bonne Aparte.
