News: Zuco 103 Live @ Olympics in Vancouver
Invited by the Canadian authorities, Amsterdam based Zuco 103 will do 2 shows in Vancouver during the official programm organized by the Cultural Olympiad team programming various stages throughout the city and Olympic sites during LiveCity Vancouver.
Zuco 103 will play February 18th for 8000 people on the main (open air) stage during Livecity Vancouver and Februay 20th Zuco 103 will play The Surry 2010 Celebration Site which is a 13 day free festival featuring a.o. live entertainment.
'I saw the band years ago in Amsterdam shortly after the release of Outro Lado. It’s been a while but they were fantastic', celebration sites coordinator Robyn Stewart comments.
The band itself is excited about this opportunity and will also release their Remix album 'After The Carnaval Retouched' in February in Canada.
'We were preparing bonustracks especially for the US & Canadian territory but we can not miss this chance and decided to release the album as soon as possible in Canada' Zuco 103 states. 'And ofcourse playing at such a great event is a total bliss'.
Zuco 103 did a Canadian tour in 2002 and has never been back there since.
