News: Dutch acts battle for European Music Award
Alain Clark, Kraak & Smaak, Pete Philly & Perquisite, Room Eleven en De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig are the five Dutch acts who are up for an European Music Award for Best Dutch Act 2008. The prize is handed out each year by MTV Europe. Viewers can vote online and by telephone for their favourite nominee of each category. Everybody can vote until October 12 for their favourite Dutch act on the site of MTV Europe (www.mtvema.com). The Dutch act with the most votes will receive the European Music Award for Best Dutch Act 2008. Of all other winners of competing European countries the top five will head for Liverpool where this years ceremony will be held. Those five bands will be up for the award for Best European Act 2008.
