Unsigned singer Lana Wolf recorded her debut album recently in New York with the famous producer Camus Celli. Wolf dreamt about recording with Celli for years. She kept calling Celli, who also worked with Gavin DeGraw, Chaka Khan and Tina Turner, until he invited her to come over. The 32-year old paid everything herself and started her own label JL Records because she didn’t want to wait for a major to sign her.

Wolf: “Camus is very enthusiastic about our work. In September he will fly to Holland to promote my album. Just for me, there is nothing in it for him. I’ll be broke soon, but at least I’ll be very happy”. Producer Dave Kutch, who worked for Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson, supervised the mixing process for her debut. A video is released for the first single Letting Go. The Dutch singer will bring her CD to the radio stations personally when it’s released.
