In the fall of this year, Tiësto will release a new mix album called A New Dawn. It is the successor to its highly successful In Search of Sunrise series, released on his former label Black Hole Recordings.
The dj/producer sees A New Dawn as a new beginning on his own new label Music Freedom. The DJ thinks he has taken the concept of the In Search of Sunrise (ISOS) series to the limit and that the time has come for something new. "ISOS was a wonderful trip, but my taste in music continues to develop through the years and I would like to hear that back in my DJ mix sets," says Tiësto. Black Hole Recordings are planning to release a new cd in the ISOS series, but Tiësto emphasizes that he isn't involved in this in any way. Tiësto is enthusiastic about A New Dawn: "I wanted to get something special, something that seeks out the boundaries. Mix albums have always been a very important part in my artistic expression as a DJ.”
