It is obviously not a real album, but Out of the Blue 2010 is a 60 minute long remix album full of versions from the track that launched Ferry Corsten’s career in full 11 years ago. And not just his own: the track gave momentum to a trance movement that was already gearing up to dominate dance floors for the next decade and spawned superstars like Corsten himself, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren as well as countless Dutch and foreign others.
Out of the Blue 2010 is released on Premier, an alliance of the Dutch labels Flashover Recordings and Black Hole Recordings. It contains two short radio edits, the original version, and remixes by Raphael Frost, Laidback Luke, Koen Groeneveld, Showtek, Tiësto, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and it includes the Violin Edit by Orchester Cyber France De Paris which was featured in Corsten’s Full On Ferry shows in 2007 and 2008.
