News: Mason collaborates with A-list stars

Mason

Dutch duo, Mason, have been working away in the studio on album tracks with a host of A-list star vocalists. Forthcoming single, 'Corrected' features legendary hip hop artist Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels (of Run DMC no less!) and soulful wonky popper Sam Sparro. This monster record is due for release in February 2010 Worldwide.

The boys have also been working with ex-Moloko chanteuse Roisin Murphy. The Irish singer even managed to get to the studio eight and a half months pregnant to record her vocals!

"We have been working for two years on the album now and its finally coming together really nicely", said Iason Chronis, the DJ half of the act. "It's never easy when you involve such big names but we are really happy to get such amazingly talented people involved and into our music."

The Dutchmen have recently remixed for Moby, Robyn, Rex The Dog and Martin Solveig as well as releasing club cuts on their own Animal Language label. The imprint is steadily garnering fans from DJs as broad as Carl Cox, John Digweed, Mylo and A-Trak.

'Corrected' featuring DMC and Sam Sparro is the first single from Mason's debut album which also features collaborations with Aqualung, New York legend Kurtis Blow and Debbie Clare of Massive Attack.
