News: Richard Rijnvos work submitted for IAMIC 'top play list'
From 4-10 June 2009, the annual conference of the International Association of Music Information Centers (IAMIC) is held in Toronto.
Music Center the Netherlands, the Dutch member of IAMIC, has submitted NYConcerto from composer Richard Rijnvos for the Sound of the Year / Annual List 2009.
IAMIC will promote this list as a top play list, which will be sent to several radio stations and orchestras.
During Toonzetters 2008 Richard Rijnvos won the first Buma Toonzetters Award for NYConcerto. The Buma Toonzetters Award is presented to the composer of the most exceptional composition of the previous year.
