Darko Esser - Balans
The release of an album is always special, let alone a debut album. Wolfskuil Records label owner Darko Esser has now reached that milestone. The album is titled ‘Balans’, Dutch for balance: something one’s life is all about. The balance between music, friends, work and life. His debut album is dedicated to that balance. Something that is shown in both the tracks, as in the track titles. In his work as promoter and programmer of Nijmegen’s Doornroosje and Merleyn, but also as a dj, he has no boundaries if it comes to musical genres. Knowing this, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that you can’t pigeonhole Balans. It moves from ambient, to house, to techno, and even acid. The album is not only the first album Darko has ever made, it is also the first album to be released on Wolfskuil. The album is set to be released by the end of November 2009.
